Wife of Late Mko Abiola Eyes Lagos Gubernatorial Seat In 2015

Mrs Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, one of the late Mko Abiola’s wives declared her intention to run for governor in the 2015 elections Friday.

She however did not mention the party whose platform she would run. Her motive in seeking to be elected Lagos Governor, she said, is to help eradicate poverty.

“There should be no poverty in this state or in this country. There is so much poverty on the ground and the situation on ground is extremely terrible.”
