The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Media, Mr Reuben Buhari, confirmed the incident and said that the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
He said that fire fighters, assisted by officials of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), immediately put out the fire.
``Everything is now completely under control and the governor is continuing with his official duties.The governor commended the staff and officials of the fire service for successfully putting out the fire.
