EFCC Stalls Daniel’s Trial

The absence of the prosecuting counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Rotimi Jacobs, yesterday stalled the trial of former Ogun State governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel. The former governor is standing trial in an Ogun State High Court on a 38-count charge including alleged stealing, false declaration of assets and fraudulent conversion of lands.
