Police declare teacher wanted over N8m fraud

The Inspector General of Police has declared a teacher, Adegoke Adetoye, wanted for allegedly defrauding his employer of N8 million.
A Special Police Gazette Bulletin with reference number CR3150/SFU/ADM/PUB-A/10/10/12 disclosed that the suspect committed the offence at Ruxon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
The police said the suspect conspired with some of his colleagues to defraud the school using a forged bank stamp on the school’s pay slip.
It stated that the last address of the 45-year-old suspect is number 2, Arch of Convenant, Oriwo Quarters, Owode-Egba, Ogun State.
The police said the investigation was conducted by the Police Special Fraud Unit,’D’ Department (Force C.I.D),Milverton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The gazette also stated that a warrant of arrest has been duly obtained from a Magistrate Court in Lagos against the suspect.
The bulletin said a “handsome” reward awaits any person(s) with information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect.
