Unlike most celebrites, Adele tends to shy away from doing magazine photoshoots.
When she does though, she never fails to impress such as she has on the cover of Elle US where she’s stunned in a beautiful 1960’s inspired shoot.
The singer has posed for the publication’s annual Women in Music edition, which also features a host of other high profile artists who pay tribute to the British songstress.
The softly lit cover was shot at Los Angeles’ iconic EastWest Studios and the emergence of the photos come just as her track Someone Like You was named the most downloaded song ever after it exceeded the 1.46 million mark on iTunes.
Presumably the 24-year-old took part in the photoshoot while she was in the States for the Golden Globes and the Oscars, where she scooped a gong at both.
Though she said she was planning to take break from the industry after the success of her last album 21, it was reported this week that she’s been back in the recording studio with writers/producers James Ford and Kid Harpoon who have preciously worked with the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and The Klaxons and are helping her to develop a more “edgy” sound.
