Twitter account of Blackberry Worldwide tweeted the date with a picture of the messenger running on an iPhone. However it was later noticed that this Twitter account was not the official account of Blackberry therefore the credibility of the news is questioned.
Blackberry's once exclusive elite messenger is set to garner a lot of installs from the non Blackberry users. However with Whatsapp that has already penetrated the markets deeply, it will be interesting to watch how BBM scores.
