#CODED-ish News:School principal dies watching Spain beat Nigeria

Disaster struck in Aghoro Community, Ekeromor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Sunday night following the death of the principal of the community’s Basic Junior Secondary School, Mr. Augustine Omokalemo, while watching Spain beat Nigeria 3-0 in the on-going FIFA Confederation Cup Competition in Brazil.
Daily Independent learnt at the General Hospital Bomadi, Delta State that the principal slumped when Spain and Chelsea forward, Fernando Torres headed in the second goal against the Super Eagles.
Sources disclosed that immediately after the second goal, Mr. Omokalemo slumped and started fuming on the floor. He died before he could get medical attention.
According to the source, before the match, Mr. Omokalemo boasted that Super Eagles would repeat its dominance over Spain like what it did in France 1998, when Super Eagles beat Spain 3-2.
While lamenting the vacuum the death of Omokalemo has caused the immediate family, the source added that he was a caring father and would be missed by his relatives, friends and students.
A senior medical personnel at the General Hospital morgue, who did not want his name on print said, the deceased died of cardiovascular accident.
