Oyo State Plans to Launch "Ajumo'mo" Learning Tablet

       

Information reaching us has it that Oyo State Government is coming up with her own version of tablets for secondary schools students in the state.

We heard that the tablets which may likely be called ‘Ajumo’mo tablets’ are already in production in one of the Asian countries, and the department in charge, the ICT, are putting finishing touches to the project. We hear that it will be for higher secondary schools first before getting to other levels of education in public schools in the state.

The tablets we hear will be packed full of textbooks for schools, past questions, encyclopedia, games, dictionary, holy books etc and it will come with a solar panel for charging as a way to address the epileptic power supply available in the country .
