The meeting held today between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities, though not conclusive, ended a success. According to the Head of the FG negotiation team, Governor Suswam, the pending issue is the arrears of the striking lecturers which would be acceded to very soon. He stated that it would be trashed out in their final meeting holding next week monday.
