Students Protesting
Members Of Education Right Campaign(ERC) and Students of Yaba College Of Technology Recently Took to the streets to show their displeasure on the on going ASUP strike. The students , who are clearly unhappy with the over 6-months old strike , raised different forms of banners , calling on the government to meet the demands of ASUP Members. The protest was a peaceful one , but distrupted the free flow of traffic around the protest area.
The ERC deputy coordinator while speaking in an interview said it was necessary for the body joined the students in the protest as this will show the seriousness of the matter and compel the Federal Government to reach agreement with the lecturers and call off the strike.
