The Ifa Priests came from all many different tribes including Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Edo and others also said they will also pray for the abducted Chibok girls to gain back their freedom.
Speaking on behalf of the Priests, President of the International Council for Ifa Religion, Professor Idowu Odeyemi, said, "Nigeria is neither a Christian nor a Muslim nation.
Nigeria is a nation of three major religions; African Religion, Islam and Christianity. Now that the two other religions have boxed Nigeria into a corner of confusion, violence, chaos and anomie, practitioners of African religion and spirituality have now stepped in to halt the rot."
