#CODED-ish News: Ajimobi Commissions New Flyover Bridge

OYO State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi yesterday, inaugurate a 640-metre flyover, situated at Mokola roundabout, Ibadan, the first to be constructed by any civilian administration in the state.

Also, the governor will inaugurate the ultra-modern motor park at Podo, Ibadan and the neighbourhood market at Scout Camp, Challenge area, Ibadan.

The commissioning programme, the Nigerian Tribune learnt, will commence by 10.00 a.m with the national chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Chief Bisi Akande  and a former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu, leading governors of ACN-controlled states to the three-phase inauguration ceremonies in Ibadan.

The foundation for the Mokola flyover was laid by Governor Ajimobi on December 22, 2011.

The newly constructed flyover with reinforced concrete drainage work on both and all the adjoining roads, beautification of the entire length, as well as landscaping, street-lighting and rehabilitation of all the adjoining roads, would be opened for motorists after the ceremony.
