Eyewitness at the club said the pair were drunk when they left the club Around 4am whiles making their way home Afia's boyfriend drove into a tree, Afia who was not wearing seatbelt somehow came of the widescreen to the street and the moving car run over her head
When police finally came to accident scene, they arrested the guy for drink driving and Afia was pronounced dead
When FocusGhana contacted the police station where the guy was been held the police did confirm the incident and also said it unlikely the guy will be charged with Afia's dead. This happened in kumasi…

Aggie, the escaped mental patient, was murdered this evening during an intimate dinner hosted by the Chasemates and Big Brother's Butler, Mike Withers.
The big question is who did it? Could it have been Flashy Ron the Bookmaker, who told the cops to "Put her in the fridge next to the frozen peas," as soon as her body was discovered? Could be, because after all, he was asked to go outside to move his car a couple of minutes before the murder happened.

#CODED-ish News::Lagos Policemen Kill Undergraduate and Friend In A Gruesome Manner

Policemen attached to the Badagry Police Division, Lagos State, and some hoodlums have been accused of killing a 25-year-old undergraduate of Delta State University, Ifechukwude Nwainokpor, and his friend, identified simply as Kazeem.
An eight-minute video clip of the gruesome killing, which was made available to PUNCH Metro, showed the two victims handcuffed together. They were covered in their own blood and beaten to death with sticks. Tyres were also put round their necks.
An irate mob could be seen in the video, shouting, “die, die, burn them, burn them.”
At some points in the video, a policeman was seen interviewing the boys. He asked who sent them (victims) to rob the area, an accusation they denied. One of the hoodlums, holding a sharp object attempted to cut off the private part of one of the victims.
Nwainokpor could be seen pleading with the hoodlums and policemen to spare his life, saying he could identify himself if given a chance. His plea, however, fell on deaf ears.

The News was all over the BBM, when a young 4 year old boy was kidnapped from his primary school on Tuesday 2nd July, 2013 by 9am at his school in Achara Layout Enugu.
There was a phone number placed in some Bc’s where people could be contacted if they had seen him, as at 4th of july(not certain), news broke and we heard that he has been killed by a potential ritualist, Though the Ritualist was Caught.
How long will we continue like this? A country which is fast developing but still having traits of the uncivilised world. From Boko-haram to Ritualists and then Robbers.

The deceased, who was in her second year in the Department of Mass Communication, hailed from Nsukka in Enugu State. She was said to have died mysteriously in her room.
Her hostel mates found her lifeless body in her room at Henriv Hostel the next day when one of them noticed that she had not come out of her room later in the day.
One of the hostel mates said the deceased was a close friend but was not aware that the deceased (Miracle) was sick, saying that they were together some hours earlier on the night she died.
However, she stated that the deceased had told her of one Mohammed who had insisted on dating her, adding that the deceased cried while telling her about the man’s love advances. She said: “Miracle cried when she met me in my room the same night she died and complained about one Mohammed, whom, she said, had been a threat to her life.
She told me that Mohammed’s love advances had been a threat to her and she could no longer bear to see Mohammed’s face in her room. “While I was with her, the same Mohammed came in and she left for her room.
The following morning as I was preparing for school, I knocked on her door but nobody responded. I thought maybe, she was praying and I left for my exam.” Other residents of the hostel told our correspondent that they sensed something was wrong when they noticed that the girl’s door was still locked from inside until in the evening when they raised the alarm and knocked hard on the door but to no avail.

#CODED-ish News::How Man Beats wife to Death in Ilesha, Osun State.
A middle-aged man, Wale Agbaje, on Monday allegedly beat his wife to death during a scuffle over some domestic issues in Iroye Street at Ilesa, Ilesa Local Government Area of Osun on Monday.
An eye witness said that the couple had lately been engaged in altercation until the latest fatal incident.
The eyewitness recalled that after the couple had shouted at each other, the husband hit the woman, identified simply as Jumoke, with a block on the forehead.
Jumoke, who was said to have bled profusely following the attack was rushed to a hospital for medical attention, but later died.
It was gathered that detectives from the Police ‘B’ Division Headquarters, Ilesa, had arrested the suspect for interrogation.
Mrs Dorothy Gimba, the state Commissioner of Police, confirmed the incident saying investigation into the matter has started.

A young man in Oyo State has been accused of beating an 85-year-old man to death on Ramadan eve.
Mutiu Tiamiyu who tried to escape with his dog was caught by residents of Abiola Central Community, Moniya, Akinyele Local Government area after a neighbour had witnessed the whole incident from his window.
According to witness report, Nasir Adigun who was physically impaired stayed home to observe Tarawhi (Ramadan night prayer) on Tuesday after his family left for the mosque when Tiamiyu attacked him.
“I was hungry and I asked baba to give me money but he refused,” Tiamiyu said while residents interrogated him before handing him over to the police.

#CODED-ish News::Egyptian photographer captures his own death on Camera{VIDEO}
26 year old Egyptian freelance photographer, Ahmed Samir Assem (left), captured the moment he was shot dead by an Egyptian soldier (right). Ahmed was taking pictures outside the Republican Guard building in Cairo, where the ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi is supposedly being held, when a sniper took aim and fired at him. It was the last photo Ahmed took before his camera went black. His camera was also the only one which filmed the entire incident from the first moment.
Ahmed was one of 51 people killed on Monday July 8th when security forces opened fire on a large crowd that had camped outside the Republican Guard building.

#CODED-ish News::Football referee beheaded on field after stabbing player in Brazil
Football spectators in northern Brazil decapitated a referee after he fatally stabbed a player for refusing to leave the pitch, officials say.
An angry mob stormed the field during the amateur game in the state of Maranhao and stoned Otavio da Silva to death before severing his head.
Police said the murder was in retaliation for Mr Silva stabbing player Josenir dos Santos.
One man has been arrested over the killing and investigations continue.
The incident took place on 30 June in the remote town of Pio XII, but news of the event has been slow to emerge.

Teen girl beheads father with bush knife after he rapes her
Teenage girl beheaded her father with a bush knife after he raped her at their home in Papua New Guinea, a report said Monday, with community leaders protecting her, saying the man deserved to die.
The Post-Courier newspaper said the 18-year-old chopped her father's head clean off after he repeatedly raped her last Tuesday night in their village in the poverty-stricken Pacific nation's Western Highlands.
The report cited a pastor as saying the father, in his mid-40s, had three other children and raped his daughter when they were alone in the house after the mother and the other siblings visited relatives.
Pastor Lucas Kumi said the man went to his daughter's room in the night and raped her repeatedly.
"The father wanted to rape his daughter again in the morning inside the house and that was when the young girl picked up the bush knife and chopped her father's head off," he said.
Community leaders are now refusing to hand the girl over to police, vowing to protect her.

Couple arrested from beating their 2 year old son to death
A Phoenix couple are facing first-degree murder and child abuse charges in the beating death of their 2-year-old son.
Phoenix police officers and Phoenix Fire Department paramedics responded to the family's apartment near 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road for a report of a child not breathing. They found the boy unresponsive and paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A witness told police that he heard the boy's father, Darnell Moses Alvarez, 24, disciplining him in the morning and again in the afternoon. He said he did not see the discipline but described it as "excessive."
The boy's mother, Davieanna Marlena Blake, 21, told investigators that Alvarez hit the child with a belt after discovering he had wet himself. Blake said she did not intervene because she did not want to upset Alvarez any further, according to the documents.
Blake said she then went to work and when she returned home, she saw her son had multiple bruises on his body and was lethargic. She told police that Alvarez did not want to take the boy to the hospital because Child Protective Services would be called, according to the court papers. The child stopped breathing while the couple argued.

Victor was alleged to have killed his Sugar Mummy, Ms Bianca, during a hot argument inside her apartment in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, over "money related" fight... Elder brother of Ms Bianca, Emeka Okoye, told Crime Alert that in a desperate move to cover his act, the suspect, Victor, went away with her phones, laptop, documents and disconnected every link between him and Bianca on the social media, facebook.

Banker Sentenced To Death For Killing His Wife In Abia

The convict allegedly murdered his wife on October 12, 2009 at Azumini Ndoki in the Ukwa Judicial Division of Abia.
The charge read, “The accused person is charged with one-count of murder contrary to Section 319 (1) of the Criminal Code Vol. 11, Cap. 30 Laws of Eastern Nigeria, 1963, applicable in Abia State.”
Until her death, Theodora was an employee of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. The legal battle between the deceased’s family and the accused began soon after the alleged killing until the judgment recently.
The Presiding Judge, Justice T.U. Uzokwe, said in his judgment that having heard from the accused person, learned counsel for the accused and the prosecuting counsel, the offence carried a mandatory sentence which is death.
