Another Female Student of Unizik Shot Dead

23 year old Chioma Obikel Nwosu was a 400l medical student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State. She was shot by unknown gunmen who stopped the car she was traveling in on Friday August 31st. Chioma was trying to escape when she was shot. She later died in the hospital.

Chioma will be buried this Thursday September 13th in her hometown. May her soul rest in peace...amen!

Another student shot dead: RIP Wunmi Adebayo

This time it's a female student of Tai Solarin University of Education. According to classmates and friends of the slain student who sent the story to me, Wunmi Adebayo (pictured above) was shot dead last night at a male friend's house at Golden Estate in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.

The 200level student was visiting the friend when they were attacked by armed robbers who robbed them and shot her in the face because she fought them off when they tried to rape her.

The 21 year old was buried immediately at Ijebu Ode according to Islamic rites. Her friends say she was very jovial, friendly and kind hearted. Her candlelight procession will hold at skyfield in Lagos.

I have a photo of her corpse but it's probably not necessarily to put here. May her soul rest in peace...amen!

Damilola Adegbite quits Tinsel

After four years of playing Telema Duke in the hit M-Net TV soap, Tinsel, Damilola Adegbite's management today announced her exit from the TV series. They didn't say why she left other than 'it was a professional career decision that had to be made' and they also didn't say if she would be replaced on Tinsel.

Despite leaving Tinsel, Damilola still plans to pursue her acting career, probably join Nollywood full time.

UNIBEN student, Daniel Ike, gunned down by suspected cultists

23 year old Daniel Ike popularly known as 'Afro Dan', a final year student of Chemical Engineering, University of Benin, was shot in the face on Friday night September 7th at Vincente Hostel, Ekosodin, just behind UNIBEN.

Daniel went to the hostel to see a female friend when he was attacked by some guys who shot him point blank in the face. Daniel died instantly.

Students of the school and friends of Daniel who sent me this story said he had just 20 days left in school before graduation. He was supposed to start his final paper next week Monday.

The reason why he was killed is still unknown as friends say Daniel wasn't a cultist; he was just a popular good looking rich kid. His parents and the police have been informed about his murder.

So sad. RIP, Daniel

Olympic Gold Medalist Chioma Ajunwa Gives Birth to Triplets

After waiting for many years, God has answered Nigeria's first ever Olympic Gold Medalist Chioma Ajunwa's prayers. The 41 year old former athlete turned police DPO gave birth to triplets September 3rd 2012.

She gave birth to two boys and a girl, all in great health. Big congrats to her and her husband.

Football star tortured and killed mistress, then fed her dismembered body to his dogs

A star footballer is to go on trial accused of torturing and killing his mistress, then feeding her dismembered body parts to his pet dogs.

Married Bruno Fernandes de Souza, 27, a goalkeeper once tipped to play for Brazil, is alleged to have turned model Eliza Samudio 'into a human sacrifice' to preserve his reputation after she gave birth to his love child.

He is already serving a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence after being convicted of assaulting and abducting Ms Samudio, 25, but will be tried for her murder later this year.

Up coming singer shot in the face; survives

The upcoming singer and Glo Rock and Rule Rhythm Invasion South East Zone winner, was shot in the face right between the right eye and the ear, early yesterday morning around 4.

The final year accounting student of Anambra State University was shot by unknown gun men at Temp Site, Awka, Anambra State, on his way back from Choice hotel where he went to perform. The show was organized by the Student Union Government of Anambra State University.

He is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Awka. His song, 'komole' is currently enjoying massive air play on radio.

Romance Gone Sour!!!: Goldie shuns Prezzo

Prezzo, Kenya's representative in the Big Brother Stargame, who stormed Nigeria three weeks ago in search of his love interest and housemate in the competition, Goldie, eventually left the country a dejected man.

After searching hard for Goldie without success, the Kenyan was forced to return to his country.

Earlier, a sober Prezzo had told reporters, "I am actually here because I want to reconnect with Goldie. I have not talked to her since we came out from the house. I am not here for any business or promotional purposes. I have come to personally reconcile with Goldie. I also want Nigerians to forgive me for the wrongs or the heartaches I might have caused her in and out of the house.

"I have realised how much she meant to me and I've come to really show and prove how much I also care for her but under the circumstances in the house, it was so difficult."

Meanwhile, it is speculated that Goldie, who is still bitter about the role the Kenyan played in her eviction from the BBA show – in spite of their professed love for each other in the house – had deliberately ignored him.

But critics have not ruled out the possibility of a musical duet between the two of them. There is a feeling that they might end up recording songs and shooting a video together, since Prezzo is a popular rapper in Kenya.
