#CODED-ish: Obasanjo Dumps Politics For Evangelism, Organizes Nationwide Crusade in Oyo State
We gathered that the ex-president has joined other clerics in organising nationwide crusades.
The reason, was learnt may be connected to the fact that President Jonathan could not allow him dictate how he wanted Nigeria to be governed.
In protest, Obasanjo was said to have dumped politics for evangelism, having been trained at the National Open University. He was said to have joined forces with a royal father from his home town, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, Karounwi III, and the world-renowned evangelist, Kayode Williams whose ministry is Bishop Kayode Williams World Outreach, to hold crusades nationwide.
Sources disclosed that Obasanjo, Oba Tejuoso and Kayode Williams, an ex armed robber who repented while in the Sokoto prison, have begun a five-day crusade in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, yesterday.

Confusion enveloped Kuto area of Abeokuta, following the discovery of the lifeless body of a middle-aged man found dangling on a tree within the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Kuto, Abeokuta, yesterday.According to an eyewitness, the lifeless body of the man was found few minutes after he hanged himself on the tree. He said an attempt by policemen from Ibara Division to save his life was unsuccessful as he was confirmed dead at the state General Hospital in Ijaye, Abeokuta.
Contacted, the state Public Relations Officer of Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident, stressing that nothing was found on the man to either unravel his identity or the rationale behind his action.
Ademuyiwa further explained that the Police were alerted by a man whose shop is close to the tree within the stadium on which the man hanged himself.
Adejobi however, declined to reveal the identity of the shop owner, stressing that investigations by the command was still on-going to identify the deceased as well as the rationale behind his action.
He stated that the corpse of the man has been deposited at the Ijaye General hospital for autopsy, saying that the press would be adequately briefed after the investigation must have been concluded.

The student who decided to leave Ogun state and protest long strike in Lagos said the reason been that the road is owned by the Federal Government.
The strike is said to be caused by disagreement between the Federal Government and Academic staff of the school. With the students numbering over 200, they are calling on students in other higher institutions in Lagos to join their cause.

#CODED-ish: Woman Charged For Allegedly Defrauding Etisalat Of N1.8m
The woman, 34, who resides at No. 47, Okesuna St., Lagos Island, is facing a charge of stealing. The prosecutor, Insp. Ignatius Okeke, told the court that the accused, a sales team leader with Etisalat, committed the offence sometime between April and May at the company’s office on Victoria Island.
``The dealers - Seaman Ventures, Telecomm Centre and Royal Serere - gave her N1.8 million for the products, but she failed to remit the money to the company.
``James claimed that she was `hypnotised’ by some unidentified men who took the money from her,” he said. Okeke noted that the offence contravened Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State. The section provides three years imprisonment for offenders.
The accused entered a not-guilty plea to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N200, 000, with two sureties in like sum. The Magistrate, Mrs Y. R. Pinheiro, adjourned the case to July 12 for mention.

A Nigerian student Olalusi O. Victor led a team of other International students from Russia, Italy, Greece, Morocco and bagged the “Best Captain of the Year” award at the University’s annual Quiz competition. His team – International United – won Silver at the University’s annual Quiz competition.
Olalusi, who for the past three years has represented Nigeria in the University’s Hall of Fame, will deliver a valedictory speech on June 27th as the best graduating Student in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences with a grade point of 5.0. The year 2012 saw another Nigerian student, Ganiyu Sanusi bagging the “Best Student of the year” award at the University’s quiz competition. He graduated as the best student in the faculty with first-class honours and a CGPA of 5.0. Ganiyu Sanusi now works as an Intern in one of Nigeria’s teaching hospitals.
Nigeria-born Alonge Olanike Omotola, who in 2010 represented the country on the University’s Hall of Fame, bagged first-class honours degree in Medicine and Surgery and was the best Graduating student and valedictorian for that year. She proceeded for her Masters Degree at Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA.
Over the past five years, Nigerian students at the Russian National Research Medical University have consistently topped the graduation chat, bagging honours and contributing their wealth of knowledge to the University’s academic status.

Lagos Female House-help Organised Robbery of Her Master of over $100,000
Operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, Lagos have arrested a female house-help who allegedly connived with her boyfriend and two fake soldiers to rob her master of over 100,000 Dollars.
The 23 year-old house help, Adaeze Ijeoma, allegedly sneaked into her master’s bedroom located in Maryland, Lagos, last month, after he traveled out of the country. Unsure of where to keep the foreign currency, she reportedly took it to her boyfriend, one Onyebuchi Uche, only for him to flee with the money, leaving Adaeze in doubt.
On his part, Onyebuchi , who has been jobless for years, rushed to Alade market, Ikeja where he changed some of the dollars to naira and thereafter, deposited the sum of N8 million in two banks. He thereafter, told operatives at SARS that he also bought a car; ‘End of Discussion’ and a plot of land in an undisclosed area where he had started molding blocks for building.

A devastated mum in China is begging doctors to help her seven-month-old son - who has a three-inch tail sticking out of his back.
Little Xiao Wei was born with spina bifida, which means his vertebrae didn't form properly.
The result is a growth that protrudes out of the back of his spine and is still growing.
Xiao's mum Chen, from Guangdong province, revealed: "We have asked the surgeons to remove the tail but they tell us it is not that simple."
Surgeon Huang Chuanping explained: “The growth is quite well developed and now measures some 10 centimetres.
“If we cut it off it will simply grow again. We need to repair the spinal canal first to stop it reoccurring."
Myelomeningocele is the most common type of spina bifida, affecting 1 in 800 babies born.

According to new information at our disposal , she left home on Friday to her boyfriend’s hostel with the intention of attending a party. Days after, the boyfriend came forward and told Seun’s roommates that she had been missing for days, just before her corpse was discovered.
When the boyfriend realized her body had been found, he took to his heels and made an attempt to abscond before he was nabbed and handed over to the Police.
Chris Brown removes duet with Rihanna from his upcoming album
According to celebrity entertainment site, Hollywood Life, Chris Brown wants the duet he made with Rihanna back when they were still together cut from his upcoming sixth studio album, X. Rihanna and Chris collaborated on a song titled Put It Up, that was set to appear on the album but not any more as Chris wants it removed and wouldn't allow the album to be released unless his label removes the song. Record execs are still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit. So far he is said to be adamant.
