#CODED-ish News::Don’t Blame Me If My Clothes Do Not Cover My Boobs — Actress, Yvonne Jegede

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede who recently landed in a messy breast surgery scandal upon her return to the movie industry in a recent interview talks about her selling point, ideal man.

Yvonne Jegede who featured in Tuface Idibia's "African Queen" video made a stunning comeback to acting after several years of being away to study abroad in University in Cyprus.

Her ideal man

I don't even know what it is any more. But I think people at different ages have different perspection in respect of what an ideal man is. He should be more intelligent than myself.

I need somebody I can learn from him. He should also be able to take care of himself. That's an ideal man for me. He should not be ugly.

On her selling point

I think it is my brain. Talking about the physical things that attracts men to me, it depends. Some people say, it's my eyes, others prefer my lips and my boobs. So, I do not know. When I love into the mirror, I love everything about myself.

On revealing some part of your body, her boobs

Well, it depends on the clothes. I have big boobs, so, if the clothes are not big enough to cover my boobs you would not blame me for that. I am not the person who made my clothes . I just put the clothes on.

On her passion for revealing some part of your body

It depends on my mood. If I want to expose my back, I will do that. It goes with my mood.

Plans on geting marriage

When the time comes, I will get married. I have never given it a thought.

It's not about thinking, it is about the right person coming my way. Many ladies have been thinking about settling down for years now, but Mr. right has not come their way.

On acting nude

No, I cannot for no reason. I have people I am answerable to.

On sexual harassment in the industry

Sexual harassment in the industry have to do with what you want. If you want to be sexually harassed, you will be. I am saying that because, even when I am walking on the road, or in the banking hall, I usually get passes.

But it depends on what you want. I do not think every director would want to sleep with every girl he comes across. Maybe, I am wrong but, I don't think it is possible. I have had the experience where a produced would refused to feature me in his movie because I did not sleep with him. They might make their advances to me.

When I am dating a person, I make it known. I do not have to hide it that I am dating somebody. If I am dating a person and the person trusts me, my family knows about the person and knows what I can do. I don't care about what anybody says."

#CODED-ish News::Cossy Orjiakor Opens Up About Her Accident

Days back, it was reported that Cossy Orjiakor was involved in a car accident.

She was said to be driving on high speed before her car swerved into a ditch.

Recounting what happened, Cossy said she was on her way to a fan a reward, for answering the question she asked on her Twitter page.

According to her, she was not driving on high speed.

"I thank God it was not too serious and I was not injured. I was on my way to drop off a gift for a fan who got a question right on my twitter handle. I didn't know the ditch was deep until my jeep fell inside. Thank God, I was the only one inside. I tried to get a truck to pull it out but it took a bit of time. I guess that was when some people took the picture.

"The bumper was affected likewise the passenger's seat. My mechanic had to work on those sides, that was all. "It is good to trust in God. I know He is a good God. I am really grateful to Him, it wasn't something that was very serious. We should always rely on God and put Him first," she said.

The singer recently posted on instagram a cam shot of an official invitation from the House of Lords, which is the upper house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, inviting him for a date with her majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“I was called to the London to dine with the Queen,” Sultan who is a UN youth ambassador for peace wrote on Instagram. Wow!! According to the invitation letter, Mr. Fasasi and presumably other UN youth ambassadors are invited to feast with the Queen to celebrate Nigeria and Her Centennial Anniversary to promote good governance.

The famous singer only recently invented a new dance step to wow his fans and which was widely accepted. It was gathered that his fans would get the rudiments of the new step when the singer releases his newest music video titled ‘Kokose’, which has already been shot.

#CODED-ish News: Wife killer Akolade Arowolo found guilty of murder, sentenced to death

Arowolo Akolade, the man who stabbed his banker wife to death on Friday June 24, 2011 after a domestic dispute at their home has been found guilty of her murder and has been sentenced to death.

Akolade appeared before trial judge Justice Lateefa Okunnu of the Ikeja High Court this morning Friday Feb. 21 and was found guilty on one-count of murder. The judge said the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that he killed his wife. Akolade burst into tears after the verdict was read.

Akolade and Titilayo had been married for only two years and had a young daughter when he brutally attacked her with a knife on his birthday after they argued. Arolowo claimed in court that Titi had attacked him with the knife and eventually turned the knife on herself. The court didn't buy his story.

#CODED-ish News: Check Out New Video By Kennis Music Artiste Joe El – You Are In Love [VIDEO]

Produced by Hakeem Abdulsamad, producer and writer for Akon’s Mama Africa; Shot and cut by Naija Top videographer, Unlimited LA in the serene hills of the Obudu Cattle Ranch in Calabar, Joe El’s latest visual addition is a big step in the right direction for this budding musician but there were a couple of things I noticed.

The video is clean and classy, but Joe El’s presence in front of the camera is quite unconvincing; LA tries repeatedly to put him in the center of attention, but Joe El’s screen presence lacks that certain charisma and at some point we want to see more of his co-star aka the cute chick in the panda bear shirt and even more of the tranquil Obudu cattle ranch.

While I’m not a fan of artistes jumping around in front of the camera *coughs* Davido, Terry G *coughs*, Joe El literally developed roots in this video. Move around a little, bro. A bit of excitement in a music video never killed anyone.

Other than that, I think the video was awesome… oh wait, is it me or does he sound like a very watered down version of TuFace?

#CODED-ish News::UNILAG to name 15 storey hostel after Patience Jonathan

LAGOS—UNIVERSITY of Lagos is set to name a 15-storey girls hostel after Dame Patience Goodluck Jonathan this Friday.

At a briefing yesterday, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Duro Oni, said the 15-storey building expected to cost about N3 billion would be named after the First Lady because of her contributions towards women folks.

He said: "It is a female hostel and the person due to be named after it is the President's wife who has touched the lives of many women."

According to him, like other tertiary institutions, UNILAG had been having problem of accommodation hindering students especially the female students getting to school on time, saying "about 28,000 undergraduates struggle for 8,500 spaces every year in UNILAG."

Similarly, Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee, Prof. Nwose Chukuma, said: "The parents' forum is not only building a hostel to help solve accommodation problem in the university, the 15-storey hostel project is named after the First Lady to honour her for her numerous contributions to the development and emancipation of women in Nigeria and Africa."

While Tuface Idibia and his wife Annie are trying hard to deny the story that he has put his account officer in the family way, the lady has finally broken her silence, revealing all that happened between she and Tuface.

Her name is Teniola and she is a big girl in one of the top banks in Lagos. She said 2face has been enjoying her secretly for sometime now until the "rough play" resulted in pregnancy and he started asking her to go in for an abortion but she refused. She said the story was leaked to the media so as to protect her life.

She decided to speak after Annie tried to defend Tuface. In the words of Teniola:

"My name is Teniola. Please I want my privacy kept secret. I just want to respond to Tuface's denial of my pregnancy. I'm 3.5 month pregnant for him and he is fully aware of it. His recent denial is to appease his wife and I understand that...
"Note, I didn't receive any money from the magazine that published my story. My elder sister took my story there to draw public attention incase something bad happen to me. And I'm not really happy about it. Please I want privacy for myself and my unborn child."
In his earlier reaction, Tuface had claimed that the story is false and that if he impregnated any lady he would be the first to tell the media. On her part, Annie Idibia said those who wrote it want to spoil her happiness.

But now that Teniola has finally come out to speak by herself, it's believed that Tuface may decide go and do the honourable thing then keep quiet and take care of his unborn baby mama as the price of his enjoyment".

Teniola said she is not for trouble but that Tuface should know that séx without condom leads to pregnancy.

#CODED-ish News::Cultists Rip Out 17-Year-Old Bowen Student's Intestines For Rejecting 'Sexual Advances' & 'Being Too Proud' (PHOTOS)

The life of a 17-year-old student of Bowen University, Opeyemi Odusanya, has been cut short by some cult members in Lagos.

It was gathered that the undergraduate was murdered for allegedly rejecting sexual advances from some youths in the area and also for "being too proud."

It was learnt that the victim was a 300 level student of Biochemistry at the university.

Police authorities said that Opeyemi was stabbed to death by the cultists at her parents' house in the Alakuko area of Lagos on February 3, 2014.

Police sources said that investigations had revealed that the culprits were residents of the area.

A police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, said, "In the afternoon of February 3, 2014, the deceased went to buy airtime for her telephone. As she was returning, a group of cult members trailed and entered the house with her.

"Opeyemi was alone at home when the guys entered. They instructed her to turn on the generator so that if she screamed, no one would hear.

"We believe that they wanted to rape the girl, but she must have put up a fierce struggle as the whole house was scattered.

"The guys subsequently stabbed her in the stomach several times and ripped out her intestines.

"After killing her, they took her phone and the keys to her parents' vehicle, a jeep, which was on the table. They stole the jeep, which was parked in the compound, after killing the girl."

The sources told our correspondent that after the guys had fled, they used Opeyemi's telephone line to send a text message to her mother, explaining why they killed the 17-year-old.

The text message, which was typed in English and Yoruba languages, and made available to our correspondent, read, "Your child has been proud. We have been toasting her, but she has refused to accept. We have killed her to teach a lesson. We have also driven your car away.

"If you want your car back, come to Lakas Hotel or Cele Bus Stop around Mile 2 to pick it up. If we see policemen around, we will kill everybody."

Residents of the area told our correspondent that the victim's mother, Olayinka, had a panic attack after reading the message and quickly informed those that were with her.

However, a phone call from the family's housemaid was said to have confirmed Olayinka's fears that the text message was not a bluff.

It was gathered that the mother of the deceased, who is a senior official at the Mushin Local Government secretariat, later reported the incident at the Alakuko Police Division.

According to the police source the murder weapon had been recovered.

"By all indications, the girl was not raped because her clothes were intact. The knife used in killing her has been recovered," the policeman said.

It was gathered that the parents of the girl had relocated to the Redemption Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

When contacted on the telephone, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, said, "I have called the Divisional Police Officer at the Alakuko Police Division and he said he was not aware of the incident."

#CODED-ish News::Why University Of Ilorin Expelled Some Students

The University of Ilorin on Tuesday said it had expelled three undergraduate students for internet fraud and theft.

The institution also reprimanded 40 other students of the institution for violating the university's dress code.

It said Adeyemi Daniel Oluwaseyi of the Basic Medical Sciences was found guilty of unlawfully taking possession of ATM card and PIN belonging to another student while Mkperedom Olalekan Okon of the Arts Faculty was found guilty of internet-related fraud.

The report also said that the 40 undergraduates, who were found guilty of violating the institution's dress code, received strong warning and were asked to write an undertaking to be of good behaviour.

The students were directed to report to the Students' Affairs Unit at 8:00 a.m. every Wednesday.

The dress code was one of the university's measures to instil morals in students and staff.

According to a report in the university's bulletin issued on Tuesday, four other students dragged before the institution's Students Disciplinary Committee for theft were exonerated.

It said two students, Fajimite Oluwafemi Ayomide and Ajayi Dorcas Oyiza of the Faculty of Communication and Information Science, accused of examination malpractice, were also discharged and acquitted.

#NUGA Update::MORADEYO BREAKS 17-YEAR OLD RECORD

Victoria Moradeyo, an Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) athlete, has added another feather to the host
glorious outing in the on-going 18th NUGA games in Zaria when she set new record in the 1500 metres final.
Moradeyo replaced a mark set in 1984 by Zenatu Mamudu of the University of Benin at the NUGA games held in Ife by the Obafemi Awolowo (OAU).
She replaced the mark of 4 minutes 57.9 seconds of UNIBEN athlete with new one of 4 minutes 31.68 second.
Earlier, she had created a new record in the 800 metres event when she put up a superlative showing to displace all comers and returned a time of 2 minutes 07.36 seconds. The mark which replaced a previous one of 2 minutes 13.2 seconds set by Abibetu Yakubu at the last West African Universities games in Cotonou, Republic of Benin.
Meanwhile, Bayero University, Kano and Benue state University are billed to trade tackles in the football final today.
BUK over-powered university of Benin (UNIBEN) 3-0 as Benue state University subdued much-favored Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
The third place duel is also scheduled for today at the same venue between the two losers, UNIBEN and LAUTECH.
In the same vein, a call has been made by experts to include more women in the affairs of sports
administration in the country.
The experts also clamored for the inclusion of disabled sports in the future NUGA games.
The appeal was made at the NUGA seminar held the faculty of veterinary medicine lecture theatre of ABU.
The seminar also deliberated on the re-organization of NUGA management in a bid to get more support from the federal government.
