#CODED-ish News::

Beyonce's Pastor, Rudy Rasmus, senior pastor of St. John's United Methodist Church in Texas, defends Beyonce's se*y image.

"Beyoncé is a consummate entertainer, and an entertainer entertains. Is the entertainer's entertainment an expression of that person's life and reality? I don't know. But I know when Arnold Schwarzenegger straps on a 30 caliber cannon and blows planes out of the sky, nobody asks the question, 'Arnold why are you walking around for those 90 minutes in that suit with that 30 calibercannon? What kind of person are you?' I don't think I've heard that question. But at the end of the day, Arnold Schwarzenegger is an entertainer."
"I think a person has the right to earn a living in the way that they are gifted, and I think that she is tremendously gifted and I think she expresses that gift in some amazing ways. I think the world would be void an extreme talent if we silenced her or censored her."

On Jay Z and Beyonce, the pastor who officiated their wedding in 2008 said.

They're friends. Their relationship is healthy and life has been good."

The students, who were brought to the court untidy, alleged that they were maltreated by the Police, who apart from beating them also forced them to evacuate waste from a septic tank.

Among other things, the students were accused of allegedly hijacking a vehicle, LAGBUS No P004 with number plate SMK 719 XK, property of Lagos State Government.

According to the Police, the students allegedly committed an offence which contravenes Section 166 (D) of the Criminal Laws No 11 Vol. 44 Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.

The trial magistrate has since granted them bail in the sum of N10,000 each with a surety each, who should be their relative.

#CODED-ish Photos:: Picture Of Naked Harry Styles (of One Direction) Hits The Web

Picture Of Naked Harry Styles (of One Direction) Hits The Web [Photo]
This is the day a lot of teen girls have lived for – the day Harry Styles will be seen in the buff. And yes, a picture has unexpectedly popped up on twitter of the floppy-haired One Direction lothario, seemingly butt-naked.
Strangely the pic was posted online by Harry’s cousin Matt Selley. It is a picture of Harry in a leather chair watching the Froch vs. Groves boxing match naked with his cousins.
I’m totally bummed (see what I did there? :D ) as to why anyone will be watching sweaty fighters while naked and surrounded by a bunch of dudes. Or maybe he is gay but then, I will assume cousins are still out of the question. Then again,  we wonder why he decided to let Matt post the picture online, but well…whatever.
Just for you {hopefully, ladies) to enjoy the picture

CODED-ish News::God Speaks Through Me Not Man – Soul – E

In a recent interview, the Abuja based prophet disclosed that he is not the originator of the prophesies and any one that cares to believe should listen and pray about it.

When my master Jesus was on earth, people did not believe him and with all he did, they still killed him. So, it’s expected that some people will not believe. It does not bother me and it does not change the fact that God is using me for those that believe,” he said.

Speaking about the missing Chibok girls, Soul E said he had not heard anything from God.
I don’t follow the crowd, why should I say what God has not told me? If he tells me anything concerning the girls, I will tell it to the world,” he said.

When asked if he was in support of ministers of God with private jets, he replied, “My bro, prosperity is of God, but I will be the last to talk against any man of God. I think people should just serve God and forget about people’s wealth. There is one man of God I love with all of my heart and I can say he is the only person I see that behaves like Jesus even if so many talk against him. I love him; I am not a member of his church but I love him. His name is T B Joshua.”

Soul E has been sharing prophecies for sometime now.  In March, he revealed that he got a prophecy from God and he saw Aso Rock on fire.
Barely a week after the prophecy, something similar happened close to the Aso Rock as a jailbreak attempt by Boko Haram members at the SSS headquarters in Abuja resulted in a number of deaths and fire exchange.
Also when the there were bomb blast in Kano and Jos states, Soul E said he had prophesied about them earlier.

According to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the Blues want to move fast to replace legendary midfielder Frank Lampard, who confirmed he was leaving Stamford Bridge yesterday.
The newspaper, who have a good reputation with close links to Barca, claimed that the London club had reached an agreement with the former Arsenal player.

It is believed Chelsea aim to use the £50m fee from the sale of David Luiz to Paris St-Germain to fund the deal.

Mundo Deportivo claim that Fabregas' agent Darren Dein has been instrumental in bringing his client back to the Premier League.
Dein had sounded out all the big clubs to alert them Fabregas might be available after a trophyless season at the Nou Camp.

#CODED-ish News:: Suspected Killer Child-Bride Begs Court: ‘Set me free!’

*Slain husband’s father blasts in-laws: No forgiveness for your daughter
*Women lawyers rally round Wasila
By AbdulSalam Muhammad
Wasila Umar, 14, the child-bride suspected to have killed her husband at Yansoro village, Kademi general area of Gaya local government council of Kano State broke down in tears while pleading with the trial judge handling her case at the juvenile court to set her free because she was home sick.
Wasila rhetorically asked why she had been held by the authorities in a place where she had no access to her loved ones over the past weeks.
Wasila’s father, Tasiu Muhammed
The child-bride’s dilemma underscored the state of confusion she found  herself in following her detention by the police culminating in her appearance before the juvenile court.
Between April 1 and May 21 that she appeared before the court,  in Kano, she had variously been a guest of three detention centres located in Kano and Gaya .
Interestingly, her situation attracted the attention of human right activists, including the Federation of Women Lawyers in Nigeria which practically took over her  upkeep and defence.
The women lawyers group protested the arraignment of the suspected  killer child-bride before a magistrate court, forcing the Kano State Judicial Council to transfer Wasila’s trial to the juvenile court.
The letter of transfer of the trial dated April 30, 2914, and signed by one Sani Shehu for the Registrar, Kano State High Court of Justice, obtained by Sunday Vanguard, was entitled, “Commissioner of police versus Wasila Umar, a juvenile accused of poisoning her husband and three others.”
“The Chief Registrar has directed that the above headlined matter which was pending before  Magistrate Court 34, Rijiyar Zaki , Kano is now transferred for continuation at the Juvenile Court to its conclusion”, the letter said.
That marked the beginning of the trial of the teenager who had been away from her Kaura village for 51 days.
‘Strange land’
However, in an exclusive chat with Sunday Vanguard before her arraignment at the juvenile court, Wasila revealed: “I miss my mum who has not been allowed to visit me in a strange land.
“What, however, keeps me going is the fact that my family are with me at this critical point in my life, and I am highly comforted by their prayers”.
According to her,  “my dad and aunt visited me a few days ago and conveyed my mother’s message but the vacuum created by  her absence can not be filled by anyone.
Wasila
“I have been receiving help from the people I did not know from Adam, I mean women who have shown concern, and cater for my needs at the remand home where I have been detained by the authorities.
“I know for sure this trial will come to an end one day and I would reconcile with my family”.
Meanwhile, Wasila’s dream of reuniting with her family one day might be a pipe dream.  In the event she wins the case against her by the state, she might not have a home to return due to the tension generated in her in-law’s Yansoro village by her alleged killing of her husband and three friends.

Bitterness
Sunday Vanguard’s visit to  the village unveiled a picture of bitterness by her in-laws who viewed her action as wicked and could not be forgiven.
The journey to Yansoro was rough; no access road, no school, no health centre, no pipe borne water.
The village is a classical example of  neglect and leadership failure. Yansoro is a village cut off from civilization. An interview conducted with Wasila’s father-in-law at the city centre attracted a crowd comprising of the young and the old who constantly interjected to voice out their anger.
Sani Garba, the late Umar’s father, told Sunday Vanguard: “I am talking to you with a heavy heart, because I am still nursing a fatal injury handed over to me by my daughter-in-law.”
“Do you know that I lost three children to her action and you are asking whether I have forgiven her? The act was too painful to be forgiven  and I don’t think I can forgive her”.
Shedding  light on the relationship between the child- bride and her late husband, he said, “They  courted for 12 months and my son spent a fortune on her.  The fact remains that the duo were no strangers to each other and it pains me the more when people try to cook up the  forced marriage theory”
Garba, believed to be in his early 60s, went on: “We understand the authorities have taken over the case, but whether they choose to stand by the truth remains their headache for I have since gone to my God who is sufficient for me.”
Wasila’s father in-law, Sani Garba
The crowd that converged at the city centre during the short interview appeared satisfied with the old man’s responses to questions and gave him a round of applause.
But one was clear from the interview, the deep seated anger they demonstrated during the encounter was a reminder that they could go to war to settle scores.
Absolute grief
However, the atmosphere at Wasila village, Kaura, adjacent to her in-law’s was that of grief. Like their counterparts at Yansoro, the residents live a life worse than slavery.
Wasila’s father, Tasiu Muhammad, told Sunday Vanguard: “What happened left a sour taste in our mouths but we don’t have to abandon the little girl.  That is why I identify with her at this moment of trial”. Tasiu linked the alleged action of her daughter to destiny which could not be prevented.
“In such situation, we only look onto Allah for divine intervention“, the father said. “What has happened came with a fatal consequence on my family, and I have visited my in-laws in the company of my kinsmen to seek for their forgiveness on behalf of my daughter”.
Commenting on their involvement,  the chairperson of the Federation of Women Lawyers in Kano, Hussaina Aliyu, revealed that no formal charges had been preferred against Wasila, stressing that the trial judge had fixed June 16 for mentioning.

#CODED-ish News:: ‘Chibok girls may return with strange orientation’

By Soni Daniel, Abuja
50 days after the seizure of the over 200 girls from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, by Boko Haram, civil rights activist, Shehu Sani, yesterday, raised the alarm on the fate of the victims.
Sani, who was at the forefront of two failed bids to broker peace between  Boko Haram and government, told Sunday Vanguard that the prolonged abduction of the girls by the Islamist group could dramatically alter the fate and orientation of the girls.
Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh and President Jonathan
According to Sani, the longer the girls were  kept   by their captors, the higher the potential of their being hypnotised and brainwashed to accept radicalism and terrorism.
”But the danger of keeping these girls, without either using negotiation or force to free them, is that, everyday these girls are being brainwashed by the insurgents,” the former negotiator said.
” If we are not careful, the Chibok girls that would come out of captivity would not be the same girls that went into captivity. They would be indoctrinated, they would be hypnotised and brainwashed to the point that they would be transformed into insurgents themselves. And of what use will they be then?
”These are very young girls in their teens with very open and vulnerable minds but open to dangerous ideas. You can see how a man would abduct a girl, whose parents don’t like him and by the time the girl comes back she is ready to fight with her parents.
”So, the danger is that as the clocks ticks, it is ticking for us , for the girls and for our reputation and integrity as a country.”
Asked if the insurgents were ready to take the window of the opportunity provided by the Federal Government to lay down their arms and accept amnesty, Sani said the government was unserious and insincere over amnesty for the insurgents.
The President of Civil Rights Congress said it was not possible for President Goodluck Jonathan to give amnesty and also declare full scale war against the insurgents.
He asked:” How can the insurgents come out and enter the open door of the amnesty when there is a price tag on the head of the leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, by the United States, which was also supported by the Nigerian government?
”How can the insurgents enter the open door of the amnesty when already there is an anti-terrorism law that outlaws the group and criminalises any form of communication with its members?
Shehu Sani
”How can the insurgents embrace the open door provided by the amnesty when there is a state of emergency in place and forces to go after any insurgent that rears his head up?
How can the insurgents embrace the amnesty when Nigeria sponsored the resolution at the United Nations that blacklisted the group?
How can the insurgents avail themselves of amnesty when Nigeria invited the United States, Israel, France and Britain, whose drones are already hovering over their heads? I think what we have is a President that is confused and does not know how to handle the Boko Haram situation.”

#CODED-ish News:: Goodluck Jonathan Has Failed Many People, Not Just Me –OBJ

Obasanjo and Jonathan 1

When your godfather start telling you the same things that millions of Nigeria are saying – that you have not lived up to expectations as President – then you must check yourself immediately and ignore the sycophants around you who will always tell you what is sweet to your ears so they can continue to shop with you.
This is the situation President Goodluck Jonathan is, as his benefactor, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, who is known for saying his mind no matter who is affected, has declared that Jonathan is failing Nigerians.
Speaking on the State of the Nation on a TV interview, Obasanjo said Mr Jonathan lived in self-denial about the abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls for more than two weeks. He insisted that action is very unfortunate.‬‪
Obasanjo said: “The president did not believe that those girls were abducted for almost 18 days. If the president got the information within 12hours of the act and he reacted immediately, I believe those girls would have been rescued within 24 hours, maximum 48 hours.”

‬He added that the president’s initial action was to ask: “Is this true, or is it a ploy by people who don’t want me to be president again?”

The respected former President considered this slow reaction from Jonathan as the “most unfortunate aspect of the whole issue” and the reason why those innocent girls are still with Boko Haram after over 40 days.‬

Obasanjo concluded his assessment of Jonathan’s performance in office with this statement:‬ ‪“I don’t believe he has performed to the expectations of many Nigerians, not just me.”
