#CODED-ish News::Lady With Vagina Full Of Maggots Speaks Out, SEE What She Said
According to the report, the lady had the new STD 'superbug' which led to the growth of maggots in her vagina.
Well another story has emerged which revealed that it was due to gross medical negligence at a government hospital in India. After giving birth, the gauze used to stop the bleeding was left inside her and it decayed, causing a serious infection which resulted in the flesh-eating maggots infestation.
The 22-year-old victim had found the found flesh eating maggots crawling down her legs, 10 days after giving birth and was immediately taken to a hospital in Hadapsar by her husband.
Recounting her experience, the victim said: "It was very painful. Initially, we thought it was normal to feel sore, but when I saw maggots, we were alarmed and went to the doctor straight away. The reason we did not file a complaint of medical negligence is because we are from a different state and I don't even know any language other than Oriya. My husband does not have enough time and resources to fight the case."
Doctors immediately removed the gauze swab, maggots and gave her antibiotics.
#CODED-ish News::LASU Crisis: Strike Is The Answer – ASUU
The lecturers expressed strong disappointment over a number of long-standing issues they say the school's administration has failed to address.
These problems were discussed at the ASUU-LASU congress during the week.
The Chairman of LASU chapter of the Union, Dr. Adekunle Idris, admitted that the strike would be harmful and that all other options were being explored to avoid the strike.
He further said that the zonal and national leaders of the Union have been invited to participate in the negotiations with the school authority. The lecturers also agreed to engage top personalities in Lagos to intervene in their dispute.
Commenting on the outcome of the national strike Dr. Idris noted it was successful because LASU would get a total of N2.6billion from the N200billion revitalisation fund released by the Federal Government.
"If strike is the only language understood by those in authority, then we are left with no choice but to use it," he said.
Some of the demands of the lecturers include restructuring of courses in LASU to follow the submissions of faculties; review of the deadline for acquisition of PhD degree and provision of suitable and befitting university environment.
Other demands are: ending the 'No Vacancy No Promotion' policy of the school; payment of the 17-month salary arrears; downward review of LASU school fees; regularization of appointment exercise for academic staff members on temporary appointment and recall of all academic staff on temporary appointments that were recently disengaged.
ASUU LASU also seeks the implementation of the reformed retirement law, which allows academic staff to retire at 70-year old.
Dr. Idris explained that LASU was the only state university that had not implemented the law, yet Lagos state judges benefited from a similar law passed by the Federal Government.

#CODED-ish News::How To Break Up With Someone Before Valentine's Day
Valentines day will soon be around the corner and many Nigerian couples are busy thinking up new ways to show their loved one how they really feel.
But this article is not for them, this article is for those naughty ones who want to avoid the stress and commitment that comes with being in love.
1. Do an internal evaluation. Really spend some time to meditate and see if your feelings to resolve the relationship are due to something temporary, such as: a petty disagreement, a misunderstanding, a miscommunication, hearsay, jealous feelings, etc, or if it is a deal-breaker. Also, find out if you are at your best in this relationship, or if this relationship is your downfall. You should feel good being around your "boo.'" You should feel comfortable and safe. So, take some time to see if this is what you really want to do. If it is.
2. Keep it on the "DL." If you have to consult your bff or your mom, do so, but make sure they keep your plans private. It's bad enough that Valentine's Day is coming up, then to make matters worse, the gossip has circulated and he/she finds out before you have the time to talk. If everybody has been in your business in the past, do your best to keep this business to yourself until you have sealed the deal. Be mature and have the decency to
3. Talk face to face. There is nothing worse than finding a "Dear John" letter in an email or on a text. Just because you are breaking up doesn't mean you can't be classy or decent. Find a location that is neutral and isn't crowded--a place that will provide you with some intimate heart-to-heart conversation with this sensitive matter.
4. Let it go. When you break-up, let it go. Do not insist on being "friends" with the person you are breaking up with. If you see your ex on a date, you cannot get mad and confront him/her. You ex has a right to start a new life since you broke it off, and you have to realize that friendship might complicate things even more. It is also best to end amicably, if you can. If you can't then you should never result to defamation or insulting your exes' character. And last but not least…
5. Understand what you need. Before you get into another relationship, understand what you need and know where you are trying to go with your life. It doesn't make sense to get into a rebound relationship only to find out that you are not ready for another commitment.

#CODED-ish News::PHOTOS: Why Legendary Singer Is Suing His Facebook Fans For $22 Million
Prolific US singer/songwriter, Prince has instituted a lawsuit against 22 Facebook fans for posting links of his live concerts on their Facebook page and blogs without express authorization from him or his label.
If found guilty in court, the fans would face a damage claim of $22million. He filed the law suit at the Northern District of Carolina, USA.
Although the actual names of most of the defendants in the lawsuit haven't been revealed and the websites named in the suit can no longer be accessed, the usernames identified in the lawsuit (like "PurpleKissTwo") indicate that at least some of the targets are Prince die hard fans.
In the lawsuit, Prince listed his performances from 2011 in North Carolina, 2002 in Oakland and 1983 in Chicago as his private materials that have been copyrighted by the accused or defendants.
The suit went further to state that the circulation of a 31-year-old live set damages Prince's earning capability, with the singer leveling charges of direct copyright infringement, 'unauthorized fixation and trafficking in sound recordings', contributory copyright infringement and bootlegging.
"Prince has suffered and is continuing to suffer damages in an amount according to proof, but no less than $1 million per defendant," the lawsuit reads.
Prince has a history of suing anyone who uses his material without permission, but most times doesn't follow through on his threats. A 2007 effort to sue The Pirate Bay went nowhere. This new lawsuit is likely to go much further.

#CODED-ish News::APC Intends To Kill Democracy In Nigeria
It will be recalled that last Thursday, the APC has directed its members in the National Assembly to stop confirmation of the appointments of ministerial nominees and military chiefs, as well as passage of the 2014 budget - unless the Presidency addresses the crisis in Rivers State.
Briefing the press after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting that was presided by President Goodluck Jonathan, Minister Maku said such development, if indeed implemented by the APC lawmakers, could "cripple the nation's democracy," as well as endanger the lives of innocent Nigerians.
"If you say that the budget should not be passed, it means you want to stop the nation's economy. It also means that you want to ensure that traders who depend on the budget, farmers who depend on the budget, citizens who depend on the budget, teachers who depend on the budget, to go to hell or that you are endangering their survival because of partisanship.
"I believe that this kind of directive or position is anti-national interest, it is anti-development and it is not something anybody who loves this country and who is a democrat should encourage. We believe that the evolution of opposition parties is good for the nation. We want competition so that everybody will perform better. We may be standing on different platforms but we are all working for Nigerians. We are not enemies. We should not at any point begin to heat up polity, begin to truncate the development of ordinary Nigerians.
"When you say they should block bills which are for the development of the country and the well-being of the people, you are killing democracy itself and you are truncating national development. I believe that was a mistake, it must have been one of those slips of tongue. This democracy should be supported. If this nation progresses, it does not belong to Goodluck Jonathan alone or any party," the Minister said.

#CODED-ish News::STRANGE:Angry Birds Attack Peace Doves Released By Pope Francis{PHOTOS}
As tens of thousands of people watched in St. Peter's Square on Sunday, a seagull and a large black crow swept down on the doves right after they were set free from an open window of the Apostolic Palace.
One dove lost some feathers as it broke free from the gull. But the crow pecked repeatedly at the other dove.
It was not clear what happened to the doves as they flew off.
While speaking at the window beforehand, Francis had appealed for peace in Ukraine, where anti-government protesters have died.
Francis called for dialogue between the Ukraine government and opposition amid fears fierce protests could develop into a wider civil conflict.
"I hope for constructive dialogue between the institutions and civil society, and that - without recourse to violent action -- the spirit of peace and the search for common good may prevail in the hearts of all," he told crowds gathered in St. Peter's Square for the Angelus prayers.
"I am close in my prayers to Ukraine, in particular to those who have lost their lives, and their families," the pontiff said.
Officials say three people have been killed in the escalating protests in Kiev over the past week, raising fears of a wider civil conflict as protests have spread to outlying regions of Ukraine in the former Soviet republic's worst crisis since independence in 1991.
The protests first erupted in response to President Viktor Yanukovych's refusal to sign a key deal with the European Union in November and a decision to ally closer with former master Russia.
But they have snowballed into anti-government protests against Yanukovych's four-year rule, which the opposition claims has been riddled with corruption and nepotism.

#CODED-ish News::Asewo Dubai – How Nigerian Ladies Prostitute In The United Arab Emirates
On the streets of Dubai, these ladies are the centre of attraction, they call the shots as far as prostitution is concerned in Dubai, and back home, especially in cities such as Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt they own big businesses and drive flashy cars, yet from time to time, they acquire two months visa to Dubai for no reason other than to indulge in commercial sex. With the help of syndicates, they secure accommodation in hotels and apartments.
It came as a shock to this reporter, whose first time it was in Dubai. Having booked her accommodation online at the Africana Hotel, Deira, she was hopeful to have some quiet time and arriving the Dubai International Airport and seeing the Arabs all covered, with warning prohibiting indecency, she thought: "At last, there is some decency here!" But she was soon to realize that beneath the cleanliness and splendour of the city lies a dirty trade, which even Sheiks are said to patronise when no one is watching.
The moment this reporter stepped into the hotel she had reserved online, she saw an army of half-unclad women, parading the premises. Shocked by the contrast, she had quickly asked: "What's going on here?" The reply from the smiling front desk person was: "They are from your country, Nigeria. They are our guests. See these ladies, they pair themselves in a room, some even stay three in a room. So, in case you want to save money, you can pair with any of them!"
But her response did not quench the reporter's curiosity. It did not answer why half-unclad Nigerian women, as early as 9am, were flaunting their bodies in front of the hotel with some black guys giving them signals.
At that moment, she made up her mind she was not going to stay in that hotel but would definitely visit the place at night for a better understanding of the mystery. Having successfully checked into another hotel, with the help of an agent whose number she got from her friend who frequents Dubai, the reporter revisited the Africana Hotel.
The time was 11pm and the environment well lit, with a beehive of skimpily-dressed trooping in and out of the hotel. Observing quietly, the reporter overheard some of the ladies, seated at the reception complaining how the business has gone sour.
One of the ladies said: "Things are not as easy as they used to be when I started this business. There were some weeks I made about $5,000 from these Arab and European men.
"But since more babes from Nigeria got into it, there are so many 'runs girls' in Dubai that for the past one month, I have not made up to $5,000.
"Worst still, some of my clients have suddenly changed and started demanding anal sex. I had a terrible experience recently with a European whom I met inside an elevator at a big hotel.
"We exchanged contacts after he paid $300 for a 'blow job' in the elevator. Then, subsequently, we met and had pizza and he offered $1,000 for sex in his apartment.
"I thought he was a decent guy until I got to his apartment. He threatened me with a knife to accept sex with me through the anus or he will kill me.
"I begged him to collect his money and let me go but the oyibo man refused and had his way. Imagine what I have denied most of my contacts, who would have even paid more for it, that stupid European got it by force and still he collected his money back.
"I am just tired of this business. Though I own a big boutique in Festac, it is through these 'runs' that I foot my bills because there is little profit in the boutique business."
Another one, whom they called Jane while sympathising with her friend, told the girls that Alhaja (her pimp) had earlier warned her not to carry money to her customer's place.
"Alhaja warned me that these days, the men will sleep with you and still collect your money. So, since then, I usually drop any advance payment with her.
"I do not want a situation whereby one stupid man will collect the money I have laboured for. Any valuable thing I have, I usually drop them with Alhaja and she gives me back once I demand for them.
"So, my dear, learn from this experience and most times, it is better you tell the men ahead of time what you can do and what you cannot do," said Jane.
Jane, who claimed she resigned from her place of work in Lagos where she served as a marketer, attributed her resignation to meagre salary.
"I graduated from the university two years ago and got a job where I was paid N20, 000 per month. The hardship and frustration in Nigeria pushed me into prostitution and I have no regrets because I now have a better life. I own my own apartment, a car and a big saloon in Lagos," she said.
Baffled by the revelations of the ladies, the reporter asked a travel agent how the women were able to practise open prostitution in a Muslim country.
Hear him: "Is there anything Nigerians cannot do? Most of these girls I know them in Nigeria. Some are rich and own big businesses, while some are students.
"They apply and acquire two months' visa and with the help of travel agents and some big women, they get accommodation in hotels and even apartment. Then, those women who also have guys working for them usually link them up with men.
"Most of them register and submit their international passports to the women or their contact persons and every night; this is how they keep going about. "It is very embarrassing that Nigerian ladies, including married women, come here for prostitution. That is how one of them saw me in Festac last year and she was hiding because she knows I know what she does in Dubai. "Once a woman calls me that she wants two months' visa, I just know that is what she is coming for and I turn them down. Some will say there is no job in Nigeria and they want to come and hustle.
"What is paining me now is that this nonsense that they do has made it difficult for us to secure genuine visas for decent people. Also, most hotels have increased their rates, with some even refusing to give their rooms to single women coming to stay that long. "If you go around this neighbourhood (Deira), you will see that these stupid girls even rent apartments, which they keep and pay for even while they are in Nigeria, yet they claim it is unemployment and poverty that led them into prostitution. "It is a serious issue and I think the Federal Government needs to act on it urgently, if not, these girls will spread diseases in Nigeria, aside the bad image they are painting of the country already," said the travel agent.
Continuing, the agent narrated how one of the prostitutes approached a client of his who lodged in the hotel sometime in June. "The girl just knocked on the door and when my client opened, she called her outside and was telling her to stop acting like a child. I just stood by the door and I was hearing their conversation. She told my client that most of the men who have seen her want her to play by the game.
"But my client refused and told the lady that she was in Dubai for business and not prostitution and the girl, while insisting, said most of them own businesses in Nigeria and that they prostitute to cover their expenses. "She even said that my client can make the money she will use to buy her goods in one night, thereby she would not spend the money she came with or buying more things.
"I was so angry that I had to come out and warn the girl to mind her business and allow my client who has told her she was not interested in prostitution. "That was why I came immediately you told me she gave you my number and that you want a decent place to stay," he said. Yet in this city, there are strict religious laws against prostitution. A western women once got a month imprisonment for a peck on the cheek. The law in Dubai has clear rules that prostitution is illegal. If you are caught by the police, both you and the prostitute will be put into jail and wait for the sentence of the local court. If you are not a national, apart from the punishment of being sentenced by the court, you will be asked to leave the UAE and will not be allowed back in again.
There are different categories of prostitutes in Dubai. There are the willing ones and the forced one, who are threatened into it by pimps. The bulk of the Nigerian ladies in the trade are the willing ones and if they are caught, unfortunately they will go for it.
#CODED-ish News::Homosexual Governors Declare War On President Jonathan Over Anti-Gay Bill
Fresh and authentic news filtering in social circle indicates that a group of powerful politicians, who are prominent in the act of homosexuality, are the force behind the seemingly unpopular agitation against the anti-gay bill, which was recently signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan.
At the forefront of this group is a very powerful oligarchy, which has seen it all in the business circle having been on the board of many viable companies including a bank owned by a very powerful chief from the South West.
Also prominent in this clique is a top politician in the seat of governance in Nigeria, whose voice cannot be ignored as he stands as the most powerful politico from his stock in the present dispensation. Two Governors from a very influential geographical area in the country are also neck-deep in this agitation against the Bill, but cannot come out to admit their preference for same sex.
The last personality that cannot be ignored is this slim-built politician, who sources say might be back to reckoning soon in the scheme of things in the country.
Our investigations revealed that the godfather of this powerful league of homosexuals is now the vice-president of a powerful elitist sport that once claimed the life of a top government official many years back.
A source actually revealed that this group operates like a cult; they know themselves and always ensure that their members rise into prominence.
The said leader always dresses like a monarch and goes around in a full paraphernalia of royalty in view of the powerful title he holds in the particular part of the country he hails from, he is in his 70s or early 80s now.
"He is stupendously rich, a traditional title holder and served on the board of a popular bank owned by a powerful chief from another part of the country, you can also trace his fingers on the board of many blue chip companies. The first Governor is slim-built, very handsome and deeply close to the big man in the government circle, he actually owned his rise to this quiet and also good looking politician, who sources said has slept with some of the aides of this Governor and the Governor himself.
"This set of folks is known to take advantage of poverty stricken gang boys, with promises of empowering them financially. It couldn't have been worse than Sodom and Gomorrah," a source told us.
The second Governor is said to be neck deep in this gay mess that his exploits once threatened his government and he had to practically go on his belly to appease a group, which threatened to expose his activities about four years ago.
"At a point, the most popular talk on the streets of the state capital is this phrase "the Governor, who goes in pampers," you know what that means, it is now that he is getting ready to quit office that he is having the effrontery to talk. "These are high ranking gangs bankrolling the activities of the gay rights group behind the iron curtain, I wish they can be bold enough to show their faces just like their counterparts in the western world," said our source.
Our investigations revealed that they are aware of the implications and would do or go to any length to cover their tracks.
"They use middlemen, who are close to them to reach out to these gay rights advocates to give them the courage and the financial backing to fight their cause in Nigeria and abroad," a source told our reporter last week.
The Nigerian anti-gay law bans same-sex marriages, defying a threat from Britain to withhold aid from nations violating gay rights. The law by Africa's most populous nation calls for a 14-year sentence for anyone convicted of homosexuality. Anyone who aids or "abets" same-sex unions faces 10 years in prison, a provision that could target rights groups.
Homosexuality is illegal in most African countries based on remnants of sodomy laws introduced during the British colonial era and perpetuated by cultural beliefs.

#CODED-ish News::Jilted woman who donated kidney to hubby wants it back…
Andy Lamb was suffering from renal failure and was only being kept alive by dialysis sessions, until his wife Samantha persuaded him to take one of her kidneys.
Mrs Lamb, 41, lost more than 3st in weight to make sure that she would be healthy enough for the transplant operation in October 2009.
The couple were even filmed for a BBC show which documented the story of her gift of love. But they did not live happily ever after.
Just a few years after the life-saving procedure, their marriage was over when Mr Lamb walked out on his wife in August 2012.
Mrs Lamb is adamant that her husband started having an affair with her friend – a claim he categorically denies.
He moved his belongings out of their marital home one evening while she was working a night shift at Tesco.
He also took the TV and stereo before posting the keys through the letterbox without a note or letter, she claims.
The couple, from Ivybridge, Devon, met when they were both drivers for a private ambulance firm and started dating in 2004.
After a brief split, when they had to live apart from each other for a short period of time, they decided to get married in 2007.
However, Mr Lamb's condition meant he soon became dependent on gruelling dialysis sessions.
His wife explained: 'He needed a new kidney or he would die. He was on dialysis three times a week. I told Andy he should go through with it [the transplant].
'He had children from an earlier relationship and he wanted to be there for them.' Mrs Lamb says she now regrets donating the kidney to her husband and wishes she could have it back – if only to donate it to someone more deserving.
She told the Sunday People: 'I would definitely go through the operation again but I wouldn't give the kidney to him.
'I hate him. If I could, then I would take it back and give it to someone else.
'Obviously I don't want people to be put off putting their names on the organ donor list.
'But all I want from him is his name on the divorce papers.'
Mr Lamb, 45, who denies having an affair with his wife's friend, said: 'I never wanted her to donate her kidney because it was a big risk. But she insisted and I'll always owe her my life.'
He added: 'I loved her but our relationship wasn't working. We had big rows and her family never liked me.
'Despite what Samantha believes, I have never been with her friend. I just helped her to train her dog.'
The mother-of-one now wants a divorce and says that she is trying to get on with her life – although she is reminded about the break-up whenever she sees her 4in operation scar.
She does have one comfort, however, saying: 'At least he always has to remember where his kidney came from.'

It is a known fact that many of these Profs just want to have a taste of every beautiful girl on campus and when you refuse they will fail you even if you pass your exams.

#CODED-ish News::husband Jay Z at Grammy Awards(PHOTOS)
Wearing just a black thong and a sheer bodysuit for the performance, the 32-year-old looked super slender in her barely-there ensemble.
From start to end, Beyonce's performance could only be described as sultry. She opened up the performance sitting straddled on a chair, which she then proceeded to writhe around on.
Belting out the lyrics to the explicit song, it wasn't too long before she was joined by her husband, who looked dapper in a black spotted tuxedo, onstage.
Getting up from the chair, Beyonce then embarked in a spot of back-to-back slow and sexy dancing with her husband, running her hands up and down his leg and bottom.
And the 44-year-old rapper also couldn't help but get touchy feeley with his wife, clasping his hands on her own famous derriere and giving her a kiss mid song.
This is certainly not the first time the pair have collaborated together. Not only does Jay Z cameo on Beyoncé's new single Drunk In Love, she sang on his Grammy-nominated song Part II (On The Run).
In the past, Jay & Bey have also collaborated on tracks like 03 Bonnie & Clyde, Crazy In Love, and Déjà Vu.
The 16-time Grammy winner – born Shawn Carter – is up for eight other Grammys on Sunday, including Best Rap Album for Magna Carta… Holy Grail.
Jay Z took home an early award during the ceremony as he scooped the prize for Best Rap/Song Collaboration along for Holy Grail, featuring Justin Timberlake.
After planting a celebratory kiss on his wife's lips, the star dedicated his award to their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, and sweetly said he now has 'a gold sippy cup' for her.
By that point Beyonce had changed into a glamorous dress, which was just as show-stopping as her performance ensemble.
The star, who skipped the red carpet, wore a stunning Michael Costello gown which hugged her figure in all the right places.
The dress was backless, long-sleeved and white lace, with a strategically placed sheer panel across her thighs.
Beyonce had also had her hair brushed out to give a more natural look and slipped on some deep crimson lipstick, while Jay Z kept his classic tuxedo on.
Meanwhile, the 17-time Grammy winner's self-titled fifth album Beyoncé has reportedly sold 1.5 million copies. The couple embarked upon their 22 day vegan challenge on December 3, a day before the Hard Knock Life rapper's 44th birthday, which he announced on his Life + Times blog.
'Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way,' he wrote. 'On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!! This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a plant-based breakfast every day. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought…'
The timing of it felt right, he said
'Why now? There's something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day…It just feels right!'
The rapper expressed his sense of uncertainty about the future after 22 days.
'I don't know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We'll see…

#CODED-ish News::Holy Bible Survives Fire Untouched As Car Burns To Ashes{PHOTO}
He recently had an experience, which he said, increased his faith in and dedication to God, which he earnestly wanted to share with Nigerians.
As he disclosed, the church had been praying for a bus to help convey its members from different parts of Lagos on Sundays.
Through the success of its 10th anniversary held on July 10, 2013, the church was able to buy one, which was dedicated on the last Sunday of December, last year.
As Rev. Inung said, the bus was a fairly used one but it was in excellent condition. As he put it, "The bus was bought to convey our members, especially those coming from Orile Iganmu, where the church first started before it was moved to Shasha.
We had prayed to God for this bus and the Lord did it. But we were yet to engage a driver for the bus. So, one of our members used to drive it on Sundays to pick up members and do other sundry assignments for the church."
Rev. Inung stated that the brother complained that the bus had a hard start, so they planned to take it to carburetor specialist in Hajj Cap area in Akowonjo.
They set out to do this on Wednesday January 8. As the brother cleaned the vehicle where it was parked at the compound of another pastor, Rev. Samuel Olutoye, general overseer, Word of Eternal Life and Revival Ministries, in preparation for the visit to the carburettor specialist, he attempted to start the vehicle, but there was a spark that ignited a fire, which engulfed the vehicle.
This happened as Rev. Inung was greeting Rev. Olutoye in his apartment. They were attracted by the shout of "Fire, Fire" by the brother and other people in the area, who immediately gathered to combat the fire, using water mixed with detergent.
As the fire raged, Pastor Inung said he was shouting "My Bible, My Bible." He said he had dropped the Bible on the passenger's seat before going up to greet Rev. Olutoye. By the time the fire was brought under control, the bus had been completely burnt.
Hear him: "When we heard the shout of 'Fire, Fire', Rev. Olutoye and I ran down. We saw the bus on fire. Rev. Olutoye's wife and children battled to contain the fire with water and detergent.
"My concern, which I voiced out openly, was that the fire would not go out of hand to engulf Rev. Olutoye's house. My second concern was my Bible, which I left in the bus.
"I and Rev. Olutoye watched helplessly as fire consumed the vehicle. I kept saying; 'If my Bible was not in the bus.' It was my main ministerial Bible although I have other Bibles.
"I have used it for over five years and I like it so much. So, it pained me that the Bible would be burnt in the bus.
"About 40 minutes later, the fire was stopped but the vehicle was completely burnt. After I had given up hope on the Bible, some people who were still around the burnt vehicle started shouting.
"They ran towards me in jubilation, with something in their hands. Behold, it was my Bible, retrieved unburnt. As I grabbed the Bible, I saw that it was untouched by fire, except a little part of the back cover.
"The mystery is that the complete books of the Bible were unharmed by the raging fire. I did not know what to say. The vehicle, an 18-seater Kia bus, was valued at about N1 million.
"At first, I was dumbfounded. I asked myself: Why should the church bus, God's property and my Bible, which is God's word, be destroyed like that? Suddenly, I found out that my Bible was not destroyed.
"This shows that God is real and the word of God is God. By this miracle, my faith in God has become stronger than ever despite the destruction and the testimony of the bus that had been dashed.
"Our members at Orile Iganmu had been so committed, hence I prayed seriously for the bus. They love God without compromise and with their children they leave their homes early on Sundays and get to church even before those in Shasha where the church is located.
"People may wonder why this type of thing should happen at the beginning of the year. Our theme for the year is taken from Psalm 102:13: 'The Lord will arise and have mercy on us for the set time to favour us has come'.
"Incidentally, this misfortune of losing the only bus we have believed God for years, and the prayer was answered last year.
"It has happened to prove one thing; that the bus burnt completely and the Bible was untouched was enough testimony for me. God has taken my faith to another level.
"The Lord who gave us that bus will give us another. The incident has proved a tangible miracle. God is real. Jesus is alive.
"Everything can be destroyed but God's word cannot be destroyed. I thank God for the lesson of this miracle, which has taken my faith higher."
#CODED-ish News::6 new Strip Clubs Open in Lagos
Ocean Blue on Sensation Bus Stop in Opebi, Teazers Cabaret by Opebi Bus Stop and Unique Gents' Club on Ogundana Street in Allen. Others are Didoz, Wall Street and the Villa, all of them located around First Bank Bus Stop.
Ocean Blue whose building collapsed last year shortly after a church moved nearby has been rebuilt and reopened for business. It prides itself as Nigeria's strip club with girls on fire.
Like in a boxing ring, patrons, mainly married and unmarried men, sit around the 'ring' and siping their drinks and watch the female dancers who gradually remove everything, including their pants as they dance around a pole, their bodies gleaming.
The strip clubs argue that they are simply providing a demand, a deep and secret urge in mainly men who troop in there every night of every week.
"Like Al Capone said in 1926, I am like any other man, I supply a demand," reads a big inscription in Ocean Blue.
"God bless Nigeria," says another inscription on a Nigerian flag pasted on the wall.
Around the flag and all over the wall, there are about 15 female pants hanging all over the place.
While entrance fee is N1000 from Sundays to Thursdays, it goes for N2000 Fridays and Saturdays when the demand is high and the space to accommodate all the men is limited.
The VIP lounge at Ocean Blue goes for N8000. it was learnt that the money is shared into two. The management of the club takes N5000 and the girl who accompanies the patron to the VIP for s*x bags N3000.
The drinks go from N400 for a bottle of water to N25000 for some liquors.
Unique Gents Club on Ogundana Street just like Ocean Blue opens for business daily and completed its multi-million naira building mid-last year. It prides itself as Nigeria's number one strip club. Patrons are made to part with a few thousands to gain access.
Teazers Cabaret at Opebi Bus Stop just like Didoz, Wall Street and Villa on Allen do not request for any gate fees. But patrons are asked to spend inside from drinks to lap dance to s*x rounds.
The drinks vary from N500 for a soft drink such as coke to about N20,000 for liquors.
The lap dance, where dancers sit naked on the patron and perform some sorts of lewd dance, attract N1000 for a full dance.
Phone numbers with the dancers are secretly exchanged in all the six clubs for further interaction at home or elsewhere.
Our correspondent observed that men who patronised the six strip clubs between Monday and Thursday this week were middle aged and workers. Most of them appear to be married.
"I like her stature," exclaimed one married man as a dancer bared it all before him and other men. Our correspondent, however, observed that unlike a few years ago when those strip clubs were full to the brim, the patronage seems to have dwindled.
Wall Street on Allen, for instance operates only on weekends for now, while patrons in Villa and Teazers seem to have drastically reduced.
However, at Didoz, Unique Gents Club and Ocean Blue, patronage seems to be good.
Most strip clubs in Lagos have adopted nightclub and cabaret-style unlike in Europe and America where they also adopt bar and theatre-style.
Although American-style strip clubs began to appear outside of North of America after World War Two, arriving in Asia in the late 1940s and Europe in 1950, in Lagos, they have been operating for many years.
But since the Lagos State House of Assembly legalised them about three years ago, they have been multiplying across the state. They advertise on major roads and no longer hide as they did in the past.
Many of them now pay taxes and attract more girls who are no longer ashamed of dancing nude.
As of 2005, the size of global strip club industry was estimated to be 75 billion US dollars. In 2002, the size of U.S. strip club industry was estimated to be 3.1 billion dollars, generating 19 percent of the total gross revenue in the legal adult entertainment.
Second filings and state liquor control records available at that time indicated that there were at least 2,500 strip clubs in the United States.
In Nigeria, information about strip clubs remains murky and health status of the dancers is not often known as they remain unregistered.
Some may be having sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/Aids and may be transmitting them to their patrons who may be transmitting them to others.
