Rapper Lil'wayne Hospitalized
Weezy was on board a flight from Texas to LAX -- when he began to convulse. We're told the flight was immediately diverted to Louisiana ... and Wayne was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
Wayne had been hospitalized last night after a pilot reported that the rapper was experiencing seizures on board his flight.

Nicki Minaj Turns Down Mario Balotelli’s Offer For A Meet Up
Nicki Minaj, reportedly turned down a request by Manchester City ‘Bad Boy,’ Mario Balotelli to hang out with him because she was ‘too tired’.
“Mario was gutted. He’s a big fan and turned up with gifts along with his other club team mates” a source revealed.
“But Nicki was too tired after the gig and feasted on a massive
Nando’s order instead – so he went home disappointed. He’d even bought a
camera especially” the source added.
News Update: Taraba Governor, 5 others survive plane crash
An aircraft, Cessna 208 5N-BMJ with six people on board including crew, operated by the Taraba State Government departed Jalingo, Taraba for Yola yesterday evening and and reported contact with the Yola Control Tower (1720Z) and field in sight at 38 miles estimating landing at 1730Z. The pilot subsequently lost contact with Yola Control Tower and subsequent effort to raise the aircraft failed.
Governor Suntai's plane crashed at about 7.45pm but was found almost one hour thirty minutes after crash.
Search & Rescue located the plane with all victims alive with various degrees of injuries. All passengers were transported to Yola Specialist hospital and later moved to the Federal Medical Centre.

Tom Cruise suing for $50million over claims he “abandoned” his daughter
Usually Tom Cruise is a pretty reasonable kind of guy, unless you incur his all-consuming wrath that is. Life & Style magazine have it seems by publishing an article earlier this year, shortly after his split from Katie Holmes, which had the headline: ‘Suri in Tears: Abandoned by Her Dad’, alongside a picture of Tom’s daughter in tears.
Understandably this angered the actor quite a lot and now he’s taking legal action against the publication, he’s hoping to seek damages of around $50million. His lawyer commented:
‘Tom is a caring father who dearly loves Suri. She's a vital part of his life and always will be. To say he has 'abandoned' her is a vicious lie. To say it in lurid headlines with a tearful picture of Suri is reprehensible."
He added: ‘Tom doesn't go round suing people. He's not a litigious guy. But when these sleaze peddlers try to make money with disgusting lies about his relationship with his child, you bet he's going to sue.’
Rather than throwing the wads of cash in an empty pool and diving into it a la Scrooge McDuck style, if he wins Tom apparently intends to donate all the money to charity.

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State on Saturday punched a protocol officer who refused to allow him sit on a chair reserved for the Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, at the 80th birthday celebration of former vice president, Chief Alex Ekwueme, in Enugu.
The incident occurred 20 minutes before most of the invited guests arrived.

British engineers produce amazing 'petrol from air' technology
The technology, presented to a London engineering conference this week, removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The “petrol from air” technology involves taking sodium hydroxide and mixing it with carbon dioxide before "electrolysing" the sodium carbonate that it produces to form pure carbon dioxide. Hydrogen is then produced by electrolysing water vapour captured with a dehumidifier.

According to award winning couture designer, Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah Creations, Nicole Chikwe's wedding dress which he designed cost £6, 000 while the matching veil cost £850, which all adds up to £6,850. That's about N1.7 million. He told NET in an exclusive interview that it took him about 7 months to make the dress.
Meanwhile, according Linda Ikeji, Mrs Chikwe was recently sighted at Reeds Club for Rotimi Domingo's pre-wedding party and her tummy now has a slight bulge and she looked like she's just finishing her first trimester.
