The principal of Ijokodo Junior Secondary School 1, Ibadan, Oyo State Mr Segun Dare, was on Wednesday, found dead along the street to his home at Citaga area, Sango-Eleyele road, several hours after he didn't turn up at home as expected.
According to reports, Mr Dare, who left home the previous day, was discovered face down in a gutter, with his mobile handset in his pocket and a polythene bag containing soup ingredients like fish and pepper beside him.
It was gathered that the deceased left his home in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 3, to go to a first generation bank along Sango-Eleyele road but could not do what he intended doing there as he got there late.
He was said to have attempted to use the influence of one of his friends in the bank but was unsuccessful as the friend told him he could not help.
Mr Dare reportedly called his wife and told her that he did not achieve his objective, informing her that he was returning home immediately.
A reliable source who spoke under the condition of anonymity said the man did not turn up at home as he promised, and when it was about 40 minutes after, his wife called his number to know his whereabouts.

#CODED-ish News::Iran Threatens To Rape And Kill One Of Obama's Daughters, Abduct US Ministers Family Members If Obama Attacks Syria
Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran's Quds Forces, Wednesday told the Assembly of Experts — the body that chooses the supreme leader — that "[w]e will support Syria to the end."
And in an unprecedented statement, a former Iranian official has warned of mass abductions and brutal killings of American citizens around the world and the rape and killing of one of Obama's daughters should the United States attack Syria.
"Hopefully Obama will be pigheaded enough to attack Syria, and then we will see the … loss of U.S. interests [through terrorist attacks]," he threatened. "In just 21 hours [after the attack on Syria], a family member of every U.S. minister [department secretary], U.S. ambassadors, U.S. military commanders around the world will be abducted. And then 18 hours later, videos of their amputation will be spread [around the world]."
A similar act was committed in a video of the torture of William Buckley, a CIA station chief who was abducted in Beirut in 1984 and later killed by Hezbollah on Iran's order. That video was dropped off at the U.S. Embassy in Athens. Former CIA Director William Casey later described what he saw in the video: "They had done more than ruin his body. His eyes made it clear his mind had been played with. It was horrific, medieval and barbarous."

#CODED-ish News::PHOTOS: Protests In Indonesia Over The 2013 Miss World Pageant
In Jakarta, the capital, about 1,000 members of the hardline Islamic group Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia rallied outside the building housing the local organiser of the contest.
Chanting "Allah akbar" (God is great), the protesters, mostly women, waved banners reading "Miss World Culture Liberalisation Campaign" and "Reject Miss World".
There were also protests in the Sumatran cities of Medan and Pekanbaru, and in Makassar, in Sulawesi. Protesters gathered at council buildings, calling on the government to revoke the permit for the contest.
The organiser, MNC media group, said it was not possible to cancel the contest or move the venue, and said the government had given assurances that it would provide security and protection for the event.
"I think there is a misunderstanding," Hary Tanoesoedibjo, head of MNC, said in Bali on Wednesday. "I assure that there will be nothing that runs against our culture. I would not accept if there was a bikini show."
The chair of the Miss World Organisation, Julia Morley, had earlier confirmed that none of the contestants would wear a bikini.
The competition will be held partly on Bali, with the final round set for 28 September on the outskirts of Jakarta.
Budi Rusmanto, an organiser in Jakarta, said: "The contest will not be different from other beauty pageants in Indonesia. The only difference is the participants."

#CODED-ish News::Female Law Graduate Leads 7-Man Robbery Gang
The robbery suspects were arrested while attempting to rob Bolatito Hotel, Kola Bus Stop, Ijaiye, Lagos.
Chioma said she arranged for the guns with Raymond Chukwuka, a.k.a. Stubborn, they were to use for the operation, which she claimed was a land matter, whereas the police said that their mission was allegedly to rob a male customer of the hotel, who sells fertilizer, of about N8 million.
Chioma, 35, who claimed to be a Law graduate from the University of Lagos, was remanded in prison custody along with six other members of her gang.
Chioma claimed that she graduated from UNILAG in 1999, was called to the bar in 2000, and owns a Non-Governmental Organisation, Youth of All Nations Empowerment Association. But authorities of the University of Lagos said she did not graduate from that institution.
An officer of the school, who craved anonymity, said Chioma cannot claim to be an alumnus of the university if she cannot provide her matriculation number.
"The fact that she claimed to have gone to Law School with the first batch is not substantial enough. UNILAG usually sends graduating students at a stretch, not in batches. My position on the issue is that she did not graduate from UNILAG, and so she was not our student," the officer said.
Chioma's claim of being called to the Bar was also debunked by Barrister Tunji Busari of Cognate Solicitors, who explained that "we have a directory for all lawyers. We have all their names with the year they were called to bar, with their NBA registration numbers. When I checked through her name in the directory, I could not find her name in my record book."
When our reporter called Mr. J.E. Joshua, the chairman of Youth of All Nations Empowerment Association, he denied that Chioma is the founder of the association.
"She just participated in a charity work which the association embarked on in April, and promised to participate fully in other projects of the NGO. But we decided to stop working with her when we realised that she wasn't a straight forward person. She is not working with us," Joshua stated.
Other suspected members of the gang are: Amadi Igwe, 41, Raymond Chukwuka, 24, Ignatius Okeredi, 27, Michael Madu, 52, and Okechukwu Jerome, 28, and a yet-to-be identified member who is at large.
The alleged robbery operation, according to the police, was foiled by some staff of the hotel, who promptly made a distress call to SARS operatives.
The law enforcement agents were said to have surrounded the hotel, and later searched all its occupants. It was in the process that two locally made guns and 12 live ammunition were recovered from the robbery suspects.
Following their arrest and conclusion of investigation, the police took them to court.

#CODED-ish News::18-Year-Old Girl ‘Raped To Death’ In Otuoke, Bayelsa State
Otuoke is the hometown of Nigeria President GoodLuck Jonathan.
The suspected rapist was arrested by the police as he tried to dispose of the corpse in the early hours of Thursday.
Indigenes and residents of Otuoke told SaharaReporters that the suspect resides in an uncompleted building owned by his boss, the former council chairman.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity alleged that the suspected rapist was apprehended by an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).
"We saw the civil defense officer dragging the suspect and shouting that he has raped a girl to death," he said.
According to the source, the suspect claimed that he met the girl on the ground writhing in pain and asking for help.
"He told the crowd that he met the girl while she was on the ground and in pain. He said the girl told him that she took poison due to frustration she has been experiencing in her life."
The Bayelsa Police Command spokesman, Mr. Alex Akhigbe, confirmed the incident. He said that the suspect had been transferred to the State Police Headquarters for further investigation while the corpse was deposited at the Kolo General Hospital.

#CODED-ish News:: ''ASUU Strike Will Continue, Even If It Takes Years Until Our Request Is Granted'' – ASUU Chairman
Despite the N30 billion released to the striking university lecturers as payment for the earned allowances, Ukwuteno, has said that the ongoing strike by the union will continue because the Federal Government has not strengthened its vision for the sector.
Speaking to Vanguard Learning in a telephone interview, Ukwuteno explained that if there are plans for the sector, government would have speedily concurred with the plea to innovate the sector being pursued by the union, adding that the pursuit of the union is to ensure that the country meets up with the international standard of education.
Meanwhile, Chief Rita Lori Ogbebor, the national leader, 'Mothers in Nigeria,' who spoke in Lagos under the auspices of 'Mothers in Nigeria' a non-governmental organisation said; "Nigerian mothers are tired of seeing our children seated at the cybercafes browsing and chatting away their time with Black Berry. These students are turning gang because they have nothing to do. Enough is enough, we'll take the bull by the horn, we must now face the fact."
She said that mothers of these undergraduates will in the next two weeks approach ASUU and the Federal Government separately in crucial meetings to demand reasons why their children are still at home and how to put a lasting solution to the incessant strike.
